Kick-off: GitHub repository + starting point & plan (group)
Important! This assignment is a group assignment so before completing you need to first select your groups via Kick-off: select-group.
As part of the kick-off, you should have a general idea of your starting point (e.g. one of the suggested papers, or one that you have found doing your own research). Preferably the paper should describe a collective animal behaviour model. During the course you will expand on this paper.
As part of this assignment:
- Prepare a public GitHub repository where you will collaborate on you project.
- Make sure all of the group's members have write access to the repository.
- Prepare a README.md description in the repository; write a one paragraph description of what you plan to do:
- list the names and GitHub accounts and names of the team members,
- provide the starting point,
- write a rough sketch of what you plan to do during the course (plan with respect to the 3 report deadlines),
- use the report deadlines as milestones
- during the course use the repository to track your progress, regularly update the README.md file
- the assignment expects you to submit the GitHub URL once it is ready
