The SCADA (HMI) system must meet the following requirements to effectively monitor and control the automated model:

  • Visual Representation:

    • Provide a clear, real-time visualization of the entire automated model, including actuators, sensors, and operational states.
    • Highlight all items in production, showing their IDs and locations within the process.
    • Use visual markers to indicate the stage of processing for each item.
  • Process Monitoring:

    • Display real-time updates of ongoing processes with relevant parameters (e.g., timings, actuator states, press cycles).
    • Include progress indicators like bars or animations for active tasks.
  • Recipe Management:

    • Visualize current recipe parameters for each model.
    • Allow users to set, modify, save, load, and reset recipes (e.g., rotation times, press cycles, robotic arm coordinates).
    • Reflect recipe changes immediately in the automation model.
  • Alarm Handling:

    • Support non-critical alarms (warnings) and critical alarms (production halts).
    • Use distinct visual cues (e.g., yellow for warnings, red for critical alarms).
    • Provide an alarm log with timestamps and allow users to acknowledge alarms and access suggested actions.

These functionalities should ensure that the SCADA system provides efficient monitoring, control, and user interaction for the automated model.
